The designer wanted to pick up the detail of the central picture frame and incorporate it into two stands for displaying the two fine art bowls you see in the office grouping above.

The stands were made of hard maple and all elements doweled or mortised together. The legs were set at a two degree angle from top to bottom. The legs were drilled for 1/4-20 threaded inserts that provided leveling points that sank into the carpet .
