Periodical Storage Cabinet

Starting as an exercise in cutting traditional bracket feet, I was inspired to build this magazine storage cabinet. Using mostly surplus material from my shop, it was made of solid alder. The veneered top was inset with a pau ferro inlay around a center field of highly figured bird’s-eye maple. A rear raised-panel door also opened for book storage.
