Chiropractors Knee-Chest Stand

Knee-Chest Stand

A client showed up at my shop one day with a box of wooden parts that he had started to build into a chiropractic knee-chest stand for accomplishing back adjustments. He had given up on the project, but wondered if I could pick up where he left off to finish the design and construction (circumstances I have since learned to avoid). Nonetheless I guess I needed work, so I agreed and forged ahead.

The chest support and knee platform are  adjustable vertically and horizontally using a brass pin inserted in the appropriate holes.

Placing the sternum on the padded stand and grasping the wooden handles allowed the patient to kneel to facilitate lower back adjustments
